Worlds Greatest Driving Road

The Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the greatest driving road in the world. Stretching for 7.3 miles and climbing nearly 4,000 feet, it boasts 60 corners and a surface so smooth that it would flatter a racetrack. It could easily be described as the eighth wonder of the world, but almost nothing is known about its creation.

The road is cut into the Jebel Hafeet mountain, the highest peak in the United Arab Emirates, the oil-rich Persian Gulf state. The mountain spans the border with Oman and lies about 90 minutes' drive southeast of the thriving city of Dubai. It looks down upon a dusty, desert landscape that belies a nation of astonishing wealth.

hey ive been on this road, and it really is amazing, the steepness of the climb in some places are kinda scarey. but the view u get on the way up and while coming down is simply breathtaking. theres a nice hotel on the summit if u wanna go n chill for a while n theres a hugee open area on the top. for the viewers, i donno about being best in the world but it really is something worth seeing.

Japan has some nice one way mountin passes which are very fun. They call them touge. However I believe the best road would be the Dragon Tail which is located in the mountins of North Carolina. and is 14 miles long with an amazing 318 turns! The Ring is a race track, not a road, and its reputation is notorious and difficult, not a pleasure as this seems to indicate. Try driving that track fast even in a game and see how easy it is to go off in some sections.

Hey dont get me wrong, apart from the beauty of the surrondings , it is a very testing road, it really is a awsome driving expierience.

Ahhh, Was under the impression that part of the ring had been a public road, but didn't think that was still the case, since u have to buy tickets to go around the track. Thanks for the info
