similar thing happenned in my neck of the woods at a dealership; mechanic was working on a diff. and had used a transmission jack while the car was on the lift. He just forgot to use the lock pins on the lift. End of the day, they shut off the compressor and everyone goes home. The lift slowly bleeds out except the transmission jack is holding the rear end up. ...next morning they come in and there's a dodge intrepid doing a head stand...luckily it was just a dodge

OMG !!!! Just imagine what would have gone through the owners mind when he saw that.......I mean it's a lotus for crying out loud......I wanna cry for him!! I know if it happened to me i wud have gone berserk and probably ended up in state penitentiary!!
