The Car Connection website (TCC) published the spy pics of Mitsubishi's Concept-X, giving us a very good indication as to what the future Lancer-based Evo X will look like. But here are the first pictures of an Evo X mule running at speed at the Nuerburgring in Germany.

The new Evo X will share a platform with the new Dodge Caliber, Mitsubishi's Outlander and Chrysler's next-generation PT Cruiser.With over 300 horsepower, the Evo X will be powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged MIVEC 2.0-liter engine, mated to a six-speed clutchless transmission. Other features include steering-wheel paddle-shift controls, and an improved AWD system.

the technical details may seem pretty hot, but the body looks just like the Evo 9 doesnt it? thats kinda disapointing.. i personally think the Evo9 went a notch down in looks from te Evo8 with the revised nose section...

Its a mule, man. It's just running body paneling to look like the 9. Even the GTR mules looked different from the concept they showed in Tokyo. They won't show the actual body till it comes out. Besides, those pics Ash posted in evo vs. sti thread is probably closer to the look.

Yeah they say EVO x will be out for 2008 in 2007,so we have to play a waiting game to see the real EVO X.Lets see what Mivec-Turbo got to say about the new X.

As far as I know from MMC Japan, Evo X will be out only in mid 2008 as MMC is not in a position at this time to do that much of R&D due to their financial situation.

All testing of the Evos are done in Nuerburgring Germany and it is far too early even for Ralliart Germany to decide as to what would the car look like and the specs. Even once they finalized before releasing of the car, such information is highly classified.

As far as I know from MMC Japan, Evo X will be out only in mid 2008 as MMC is not in a position at this time to do that much of R&D due to their financial situation.
