Hello,

Did any one knows about JCB backhoes in sri lanka, how much it cost? which year machine are their? are there any buyers for it?

What do you want to know about them.JCB is a brand of british made construction machines.However they are just a small brand in the world stage only leading in the Backhoe loader segment.

Cat/Caterpillar(US) is the worlds number one construction machine company followed by brands such as Komatsu(Japan), John Deer(US),etc.

the price of a Backhoe loader is around 8 million both for JCB and CAT(from UK).However JCB indian loaders are available for around 6 million.CAT doesn't come from India.

Also I must add,that these are the ultimate machines which is fascinating to the person who really knows them.

The prices may vary from 3 mil to 6/7 million based on the quality of the machine.According to the government rules no body can import machines which are more than 6 years old.However our guys put wrong dates and bring machines which are older than that.My advice is never buy anything which has worked more than 6000 hours unless it has gone through a major overhall.

Hola,Though there are plenty of junk all over the place,none of the main contractors are buying them.Only few people buy those junk which has been dumped in Japan/China and learn the hardway why those people have dumped those machines in the first place.This is totally different from importing recon cars from Japan.People use their machines to the maximum length of their lifetime.
