Shismo Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 hey guyz i hav a problem wit ma bios... my bios clock slows down sometimes n also some times all my bios settings gets erased.I tried changing da battery,but after couple of weeks the same problem....I changed the battery a couple of times n same result,works fine for a couple weeks n then th clock slows n all settings are erased...My pc is a Athlon64 2800+ with Gigabyte K8ns motherboad.. Saturn Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 Strange... can you remove the battery and check it's voltage? If it's correctly showing 3V+ then it could be some issue with the motherboard? unknown Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 not sure this works theirs a jumper on the motherboard that resets the motherboard. hold it for 10sec 15sec. the battery should still need to be connected and this jumper located near the battery. i had a simmilar issue and did this it worked. good luck with it. Machan Gigabyte (K) boards have some un identified problems,once i used GA-8KNXP board and had a voltage issue even they had external voltage controll devise on the board for ur problem contact Pc House, give the board to them and tell them the problem they will do something and if ur board is under warrenty maybe u can get a new board, but if ur board is under warrenty and those guys refuse to change the board or u want to change the board even it working or not just send me a mail i tell u how to do it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
