Advice on Driving from Trinco to colombo at 4am

Hi, can anyone advise on driving from trinco to colombo at 4am. Keeping in mind the elephant situation. Appreciate your thoughts and advice.

Am sure there are lot of people who does this trip. Those elephants have not bothered people for all I know, unlike the ones you find in Kataragama side. You just have to drive carefully (means not going too fast and paying attention to your surroundings), if you encounter elephants just wait for them to move away do not honk they will be cool and calm if you dont bother them. 

 

If you happen to see a bus or lorry you can always go behind them, those guys know the area like the back of their hands.
