Navigator / Reverse Panel / Tv / Radio On Japnese Cars

The nissan blubird sylphy has a navigator / reverse panel / japanese Tv and Japanese Radio display. Can someone advice how and where this can be changed to suit sri lanka. probably by addiding any modules to the existing

For my curiosity!!!!! Is there any utility of car GPS navigator in srilanka. With my experience, in Europe this facility make life much more easy.

There are Car GPS variants in SL but you would be unable to access its functions locally cuz as far as i know, most devices do not have the Sri Lanka maps thus practically having no benefits without it..

only thing they can do is to remove the changer and replace with a dvd player to play off the nav screen.

guys I have a small problem too have a original Toyota TV/DVD/MD set......... since one of my friend has accidently plug some wrong power cables into it... now the DVD is not working but the TV and radio is working on this..... do you have any idea where i can repait this.

Changing the display language is almost impossible.Upgrading the GPS data base is upto a certain limit is possible but not the moving map display. Converting Nav display to a TV/DVD display is commonly done!

If you could source the english variant of the device in the foreign market i suppose you could purchase the chip and have your navigator conveniently transformed to the english language but considering the model variances geographically it is seemingly impossbile..

Aviation GPS maps of SL upto very small scales are available but data transfering and software compatibility is the biggest problem.there are few european vehicle models support Garmin Data base and that is somewhat upgradble!
