Guys, I have 2 questions

My Nissan FB-15 states that it has “NEO Heads” in its engine. What exactly is a NEO Head?

In some sites I saw some FB 15 engines come with a “Lean Burn system”

How can I find out whether my engine is a Lean Burn or not?

Yes.... You should have NEO heads in your FB15,

Lean burn is combustion of air:fuel at very high ratios... to my knowledge NEO engine in the FB15 got the lean burning mechanism as well and most of the newer cars today got this system to provide better performance, to increase the fuel efficiency and to be environmentally friendly with low exhaust emission .

Thanks Pericles!

Does this mean that there is no camshaft in my car? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VVL)

How about my question on lean burner?

No no, u should still have a camshaft or two. VVL engines are normally DOHC. Dunno if there is a SOHC design somewhere, which is why I said Normally.
