Got this via mail..Is it real?? The all new drive-by-wire Merc SCL600. No pedals..no steering column!!

This is an old concept car that displayed quite sometime back at the Geneva Auto show if i'm not mistaken. Had a lot of technology of 'things to come' in newer Mercs. As usual, its a tease of some items that will never see light of day (drive by joystick?! C'mon!), and other technologies that we already hear of, such as Distance Cruise Control and self-parking. If i'm not mistaken, this concept car is about 5-6 years old...

i think its at least 7 years old, cos i remember seeing this car on a 2001 (wall)calander... has a lot of common features with the S-class that just went out of production..
