Pimp my ride is such a horrible show! They've done a (very) few nice cars...but most of the stuff they do on that show is so ghetto and gaudy! And almost all the time they just do cosmetics, and don't really do anything under the hood...so the guys who get their cars pimped on that show pretty much just end up with the same peice of crap they started off with a horrible make over! but I must admit, it is ridiculously entertaining

Dude, that's the whole point. They "pimp" it. Not decorate it in good taste. It's supposed to be gaudy. It's for bling, not for any practical use.
