Less than 1M and that y EK3 is definatly out (even though I'd love to own one)

I saw a beat for 600k few weeks back (sunday observer)....

anyway I didnt come across any delsols (to be sold) but i've seen a few on the roads...

So plz guys....if you have any info about the beat and delsol post them here...

with all due respect to ek3 & eg8....I'm not interested in them....simply coz they are out of my budget...

yes, I saw the beat too, but bro that might not be the best option for a first time buyer.

price range beat 6 to 8 lks delsol no 1 sells ha ha ( 1 to 2 mn)

fuel..beat 10-12 per leter delsol 8-10kml

beat only the looks.. when u drive u fell its just not honda..n engines n bodyparts u must get from mars.

delsol cool n mean sporty.. good on hadeling n power ...well fuel is ok..but bodyparts bit hard 2 find.. engines r there.. but if u screw a manual sir gearbox then u hav to search again in mars ha ha

hey even ek3 is out if u check autolanka classifieds u can get an eg8 for arnd 1mn to 1050 ( cos even here are lot of carb model egs thr r few v tecs too)..if u nd help on engine or anything call me 4 help mate..( thats what honda club is for)..hey if yo buying an eg8 go 4 a vtec..

Why not look at a CRX instead? Handling is a lot sweeter than a Del Sol (IMHO) and you should be able to find one well below 1m.

guess the SiR box would be a liitle difficult to come across... shouldn't be too hard getting a manual vtec box.

after going through few previous threads..i ruled out the beat...but I'm still on the look for the delsol (although its bit higher than my budget)...

please guys enlighten me on the delsol...

u n i both know the priceses of sir maual gear box..two times more than engine ha hawell crx id always a good choice.. 300 crx arnd 9lks...yep arc angle manual v tec box no worries i got 2 extrsa ones ( as stock ha ha)

AFAIK The beat is an EXTREMELY small "Kei" car, with the same engine as in the honda 'buddy' van (600 cc). It's a very very small car, so not too safe (wouldn't want to be in one of those in a crash)

..the del sol is a variant of the civic, popular in US among kids... bit of a fun car... though it's quite rare in Sri Lanka. I've only seen one here, the green one with the upside down accura badge at the exhibition. AFAIK the del sol is no longer made...

As someone has pointed out... the CRX may be a better buy.. I've seen older CRX's on our road.. they go quite fast
