Anybody knows a reliable place to buy PIC micro controllers and AVRs in Sri Lanka?

What r the PIC Micros that u r looking for machan ? PICs r normally hv in SL. At Pettah.

But not ATMELS. I also looking for some Atmels like ATmega8515, ATtiny.

But c can order those from FARNELL SL joint at

I bought PICs from Pettah as you mentioned, but no luck with ATMELs. PICS are available in most of the places, I bought several PICs even at Galle. But ATtinys are complete strangers to most of the sellers. Thanks for the info about Farnel distributor, OS projects. Do you have any experience with them?

Yes i bought lots of items from them. I bought some items today here r some pics
