BMW i3 - Why so cheap on the second hand market?

I have come across a couple of BMW i3s that are less than Rs.8 million. Is it also a culprit of the battery degradation issue? What are some other common issues with BMW i3s? How much would it cost to replace the battery with a new one?

I would it is to do with the local mentality on EV after the Nissan Leaf issue. I guess the i3 still does have a better range than most Leafs. Also battery can be ordered through the agent (brand new) unlike the others, but will cost you an arm and a leg which brings to the price. There are still a few around that does around 100+kms on a single charge, also you have the range extender which is like having a generator at the back for back up. These go for much more.

I presume you looked at the car in nittambuwa side? I dont understand why it has still not been sold at the prices they quote. you need to keep in mind that there are a few in very bad shape (battery wise and mechanically).
