500/= for Bikes,

1000/= for Cars & 4x4s

what i heard is drivers should have a SLAS racing licence , is it true??

For some reason Motorcycles haven't really come out as a means for recreation in SL.

Lucky for some of us...you can get hooked up with a few like minded individuals get prepped up and ride on

Once did a trip with a few friends on our XR's for 3 days... only downside was we didn't get enough offroad time and the rains came down and robbed us the fun of riding long distances to a point

If only these motorcycle clubs do more to promote these types of things

I was made to understand that this is like a time & reliability trial. I'm not too sure about the full details. Its best to call up the club & get all the details.

Yes .. you do need the SLAS License to compete in this rally

and from next year, Riders will need the FMSSL license to compete as well.

I was made to understand that this rally has ample off-road time too. and the total on & off road would go upto about 120kms

So u can consider running this with your buddies. If you are interested, call up soon and reserve your entries

thanks mate but i have planned another outing of naval nature

And since our bikes are only used for touring purposes they need some TLC to come outta hibernation and that takes some time

No offense but 120km's seems nothing for an XR or any other bike of similar standing

Anyways, have a great ride and post us pics

Sorry about the late notice. This stuff was conveyed to me at the last moment too. Next time I'll bring it to the forum's notice soon, provided that I get the info early

Anyway .. I'm just back from the rally. 16 drivers & 6 riders participated. There was some confusion after the 4th checkpoint & the finishing results now will be calculated by the club, according to the progress made only upto the 4th checkpoint. I'll be back with the final results later
