any one knowing of standard Mileage per liter for EK3 (98), multimatic with vi engine in econ mode?

If you check the net you'll find people claiming 18-20 kmpl on highways... dunno how true that is, but i've heard people claiming to do 13 - 14 kmpl here. alot depends on you driving style though, as i'm sure you'd know.

mine runs only 7 km per liter. i obtained this figure with very careful economical driving in econ mode..

could be any number of things... when was the last time you:

a) changed your transmission oil?

b.) did a tune up?

i dont know these bcuz i recently bought it.

i did a transmission oil change but no tune up.

i'll do a tune up as well, may be someone can let me a good place for that...

better check plugs ,air filter n petrol filter n pour sm injector cleaner.. then u may not have 2 do a tune up..

My bro drives the 2000 model EK3 multimatic. he gets 10km/l avg on city drive. Not sure about long cruise.
