Good work guys..AL spawns yet another club!

Wheres buggati's car?

BTW I guess thats the end MFOCers, since the president himself and others haven't a mazda or a ford anymore...Maybe Ripper can revive the club eh

Bugatti's car is on stilts, while her wheels are being painted and a Bilstein suspension fitted. Should be ready for the next meet..

Still hanging on to the Mazda, till Ripper takes over the club :D

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd post this in the best interest of all our valued members..

I just got back from Thailand, where did some shopping for my E36. I have come to the conclusion that the local places are ripping us off.. Posted below the unit prices of items I purchased.

Bilstein Front Shock - 12,500/- (made in Germany)

Bilstein Rear Shock - 6,500/-

Lemforder shock mount - 4,700/- (made in Germany)

Knecht Oil filter (M50/M52) - 1,050/- (made in Austria)

ZF Oil filer (5HP18) - 3,900/-

Mann Fuel filter - 1,900/- (made in Czech Republic)

And many more to list...

The point I wanna make here is.... It is cheaper to have someone go there and bring the stuff down if we can compile a list. I'm planning my next trip in April.

Think about it. :D

Jeeez, those prices are a steal. Can`t even get a generic oil filter for a Corolla for that sort of money here in Australia. :(

Anyways, would love to see all Toyo fans read this. :alc:

Did you factor in your overheads? Tickets, accommodation, freight and taxes?

Ticket 30k on UL.. and if u gotta spouse at UL, then u pay next to nothing.. Mihin is cheaper, but if u love your life, I suggest you stay a way..

Accommodation can be from 1,500 LKR up... freight n taxes are not applicable unless one plans to bring stuff by the dozen, n attract the sleepy customs guy at the exit.

No other expenses unless Peri want's to take a Turkish bath while there..
