what is it with Subaru and crazy adverts???

check this out -

Apparently Subaru Canada felt that the consumers in the region didn't know that Subaru was Japanese ,so they wanted to convey this and the new styling of the 2009 Forester using that commercial!

The complete media campaign is said to include a that TV ad ,a dedicated Web site, print ads, radio ads and a book : “The Joy of Sexier.”

which is a user’s guide with hand-drawn illustrations of the new Forester along with helpful tips on 'how to make every drive more sensual'!

Thats just stupid. If you wanna make it sexy they should have got some Japanese girls. Maybe some import models. I mean, SUMO wrestlers? Well documented fact, to make washing cars sexy, you need Jessica Simpson in a bikini or Daisy Dukes.

Yup, yup. That red dot where the "i" would be in the logo makes me think ur right too. But its unclear and it begs the question "Why?". Even if it was just a fake tat for the vid, Why?

the uncreative guess would be that she's a full blown petrol head who loves perforamnce brakes!

.....hmmm given placement though... Brakes = Stop ya

...maybe its her way of saying No "Driving" or "Parking" beyond that point or in that zone!

its got nothing to do with snow,but theres an impressive jump over the new STi (which looks like its in some form of Rally livery) made by Travis Pastrana where he flips over the Impreza whilst the car itself is in mid air!
