Need Advice And Direction!

Hi guys!

I have a toyota prado TZ 97 model intercooler turbo diesel and currently it is fixed with modified exhaust that came with it from Japan.

To be frank, im quite fedup with the beat and hence I want to go in for some standard fittings and would like your take on it.

It would be great if anyone can suggest any places apart from nugegoda, Ive tried loads of places to no avail. Im looking for a recon exhaust from the middle including the muffler to the end.

Also, I want to change the tail light to the plain white lens, any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

crystal light tail lamps are available at most places in wijerama or a*t*bhan in wattala (in front of t*y*ta l*nk*). a*t*bhan might have recondition exhausts as well.

as an alternative, if you cant find an exhaust, why dont you get a new exhaust done by one of these silencer shops. cos it's ussually very difficult to find reconditon exhausts for prados, spcecially in good condition.

also just check wit e*ro-n*pp*n, panadura, dey tend to have a wide variety of prado parts.

The term is misleading. It refers to a used exhaust in serviceable condition. They mostly come from Japanese scrap yards, and interestingly if you find one in good condition does easily outlast a locally fabricated one (perhaps not a stainless steel one), because of the superior galvanizing process used in original equipment.

Agreed with mishiran.Elcardo does a better job.Its not easy and practical to use a second hand used exhaust system.

Elcardo is a tad on the expensice side, compared to some other not-s-bigl joints arent they?
