i thought latest Discovery 3 -landrover much expensive than hummer i heard it's more than 20m

i'm not entirely sure of the revised prices but last i recall the Discovery 3 was aorund 18 Million and the Range Rover Sport 26 Million...

but its quite likely that these have since increased...

A Hummer passed me by a few days back but i was sitting low so i got properly blinded and my vision cleared out too late to make out if it was the known H2 or an all new H3...

The black hummer is owned by the owner of a leading private security firm which is at Pitakotte area. You can see its there infront of the office in most weekdays.

hummer is in d 22-24 mil range, mind you these are used. diso3 is 22mil n rrs nonsupercharged is 25mil after recent increase.

i kw the place i live next door bro .... it's aven guard security ... i saw that hummer few times too and he has a range rover sport supercharged and a very nice collection of sport bikes at his house .... guess he owns few skylines too ... he has a lot of cool rides ... and mahinda ramanayaka .... cousin of jagath ramanayaka who is living at baddagana .... has a pretty good collection of cars and bikes too .....

i watched Sirasa AutoVision yesterday after a long time .... the program was all about Hummers yesterday !!!! they showed 2 (black and a white one) H2 s. according to them the right hand drive conversion is done by a sri lankan company (cant remember the name) and they do the conversion and export them to 56 countries including Australia... the starting price in here is 26MIL upwards.

anyway i don't like that big box !!!

hehehe! i was going to comment on the AV segment myself on this thread when I saw yours! I found it quite 'amusing' how the host was promoting this as a family SUV and how it had so many features and qualities such as boot space etc that a typical family needs. And i was waiting for the price and even the dealer was a bit uncomfortable mentioning '260 lhaks'... hehehee! but i guess you cant blame him for taxes

but talking about the workmanship it looked VERY good, the dash conversion and the control panels on the door etc looks original even though they had all been crafted in SL. I'd say it looked like a VERY good job!

Machang to correct you on something.

The Security firm guy never bought the RRS, it was his customers vehicle which has since then changed hands twice. He was just using it for sometime although he had told others that he bought it.

Featured Velocity's Lancer EX, and the man himself. my question: Dims, Do you have another Dimantha working at your place? i saw another 'dimantha' on the same show a couple of weeks ago featuring a hyundai coupe, and it wasnt you. for a minute i thought that i'd forgotten what you looked like
