Help With Hrv

guys i'm a total newby for vehicles.. im thinking of buying an honda HRV manual 2WD [ 4wd on demand right? ].. ( saw the prob with CvT gear box) cud u guys plz help me with

1) market price

2)fuel consumption

3) maintainance

4) availability

ect... thanx in advance... keep up the good work...!!!

My brother ran a Manual 2wd HRV some time back.

For the two years we had it the only problem it had was one leaking brake washer.

Fuel Economy was 10-11 in colombo and 14-15 outstation.

Accelaration was pretty good because the gear ratios were close.

Not sure about the market price my guess is anywhere between 2.2 to 2.4

By the way - 2WD is 2WD.... the HRV uses a full time 4WD system like the CRV and the 4WD model is very rare.

Market price is very low... but the good part is as you are buying second hand you are anyway buying cheap so you do not loose as much as the guy who bought it unregistered.

You could easily get one for 20 to 21 and I saw a good one K numbers advertised recently on AL...

Fuel consumption should be good as it has V tec, my guess is 9 or 10.

Maintenance is entirly luck and you might need to expect some high costs.. but a good value for money SUV.

There are enough cars for sale .... very much a buyers market.

But for the same price the Mazda Tribue I think is a much better buy...

HRV Doing 9-10 in city??? That's good economy for a vehicle for its size and on a 1.6L
