Ripper
Saturn said: http://www.hrw.org/en/news/2009/03/04/sri-...cuate-civilians sad situ there mate... heard people have died of hunger also pathetic Quote [in addition to preventing civilians from leaving combat zones, the LTTE has deployed their forces close to civilians, thus using them as "human shields," fired upon civilians trying to flee to government-controlled areas, and recruited children for their forces.] can't believe this is HRW woken up from their slumber and realized what ltte is all about? Quote The Sri Lankan armed forces have repeatedly and indiscriminately fired artillery at densely populated areas, including unilaterally declared "safe zones" and hospitals. Government statements have suggested that all ethnic Tamils who remain in LTTE-controlled areas are combatants, effectively giving a go-ahead for unlawful attacks. i hope HRW has solid evidence to back the first claim of "indiscriminate arti fired aimed at densely populated areas"... and the latter comment by the government is one of the dumbest ones in human history! what a stupid thing to say... those people don't have a say and are helpless to rise up against ltte... so just because they can't move into to gosl areas doesn't mean they are ltte... Jeez how stupid do you have to be...
xXx
forget about the things happening up north look how low things have sunk in the capital? when the sudaroli (spelling?) editor was 'abducted' (i have to use that word because that is not the way to arrest a man) it took almost two hours for the police to confirm that the man is been interrogated by the police. media institutions and personnel attached to them are been hunted down in broad daylight and the white van mafia is operating freely. not a single arrest has been made so far. yet the government has the audacity to say all this is a foreign conspiracy....
