i'd like to know some facts about TATA Indigo cars. (Indigo or either Indica)

Is it worth for the prize.

How about the performances... and fuel consumptions!

i drove one many many years ago. and it felt pretty solid. but it was a brand new car and like all indian goods i don't know how long it will stay that way. so see if you can drive a somewhat older example and see if it still feels just as good

Ours is a 2003 indica. cant coment on the performance of the petrol (our is a diesel). But drive-wise its pretty good. sticks to the ground very well, and quite a nippy drive.

going onto the interior, its not as refined or nice as the newer Indicas. A friend of mone has a Xeta and that interior is really nice. Almost as nice looking as a jap car. There's very little electronics on ours so nothing has gone wrong yet. and the interior in my opinion has more room than even a bigger japanese sedan.

Airconditioning is the tricky part. in fact its too good IMO. its not just one speciman but common on all of cars. i hired one in india once, and it was so cold inside, there was water condensation on the outside of the glasses at 10.00am on a hot indian morning. And when the AC is off you feel quite a big diference in pulling power (then again i'm talking of a diesel engine).. so what i do is while i'm stuck in traffic i leave the AC on and when i'm pulling out i turn it off.
