Mirror Control Unit/relay - 93 Toyota Sprinter

would anybody know where to locate the mirror control unit/relay of a ae100 corolla sprinter?

My side mirrors are not retracting anymore but if i remove them from the car and power them up externally they retract fine...

Heard that this model has come with a separate controller/relay unit to handle automatic retraction when the car powers off...

it used to retract sometime ago with the retract button but that too is no longer happening...

planning to take it to mini's joint.... "ruwan's" over the weekend but i'd prefer to go there "knowing" the full picture

googling got me no where on this cos i think these JDM models cars don't et talked about that much in forums...especially when it's over 15 years old

Its not easy to find a good working order relay only.You got to buy the whole, thats the wire harness complete with sockets (thats 7 pin type for Toyota models I guess-not the 3 pin) and the relay that suits the controller.

Ruwan should deffa help you out.You can source the relays from Navinna based used parts shops.

Sorry I forgot...just check the Fuse.Maybe its wired seperately because of non-Acc mode operations.

i think this gotta be under the dash or somewhere in the cabin itself.. hopefully the fuse will be there itself or for good measure i will check all the fuses... But the non of the marked fuses have mirror functions marked on em
