Polish Fo Matt Finish Paint

Question

Posted

Anyone know what I can use to keep matt black or flat black looking good? Tried regular wax and the plastic bumper polish but the result isn't great.

I'd imagine some sort of spray on polish with a micro fiber towel maybe the way to go

Any suggestions or brands?

3M for the micro fiber cloth- you get lots of cheaper unbranded stuff as well- which would do the job

Spray on's- I use Maguires or Eagle One on normal paint. But I'd say try the 3M spray on as the fuid is a lot thinner with less white residue.

Mate never use polish or wax on flat/matte black.just wash and clean it.Theres another way you can keep it looking good, to maintain matte/flat finish, use ordinary dish soap to wash but dont wax it. Dish soap has detergent/degreasers helps removing dirt grease and wax.

One expensive way is using WD40.Still worth a once a month shot.I've head about "Back to Black" from Mother's Polish, availability in SL is the q here.
