Honca D15b - 2 Stage Vtec ??

Hi I need information on my Honda.

As per above ariticle my car should be 3 stage VTEC. Engine is same as discribed in the article (D15B SOHC) with 2 VTEC selonoids.

But I was told it's 2 stage VTEC.

If I have 2 stage VTEC how does it work (what valves engage) and at what RPMs?

You seem very confused. If your car is a an Ek3 it is a three stage v-tec. The engine has two solenoids.

yeh.. i'm confused. I was informed by previous owner it is 2 stage VTEC. But according to what I red, this should be 3 stage VTEC

if ur car is EK3 and comes with D15B its 3 stage VTEC!

If you hav Ek3 vi, your engine shd be 3 stage VTEC.
