Yes, Most of the time there is a display with specs. of car and MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price). Almost always when dealer add promotional discounts etc, you can buy little cheaper than MSRP.

Sometimes when a hot new model comes out, dealers even sell for a good amount over the MSRP where the desparate buyers pay a higher tag. Mostly only the dealers with good sales volume and higher rating in their points system receives first few out of the production line until enough of them are in factory stock.

http://www.edmunds.com gives all current prices. You can use NY ZIP code 10015 as an example as site requires a ZIP code.
