Hey guys..... does anyone know where i can get good Sound Deadening done... i'm looking @ getting the material laid under the carpet, firewall & boot as well... need a quality job done @ a reasonable price :-)

What is the vehicle and what kind of application are you looking at? I saw at Pet#o some brand that is for floorboards and firewall. Not sure about the prices.

Civic Exi 2000 model... looking to get the firewall, floor, doors & boot done.... the last time i called Pet@o said they only do the doors...

these comes with OK levels of sound deadening. How come you need more?

What you can do i to get Arpico to lay one of their floor rubbers and then use the normal carpets on top of that. But I know someone who did that and has some improvement. Slight. Thicker wool carpets always work if you can keep them clean regularly.

to me it's not enough.. need to reduce the noise coming in more..... let me know if u get to know of anyone who does this kinda work..... dont think arpico floor rubbers will be enough :-)

I don't think you can have absolute silence in the average family car. You can try with freely available stuff and see. RigidFoam on the door inner panels might work, but then its a dirty job getting them in.

checked @ a few places... no luck... guess the thick carpeting is the only option.....
