Where exactly is this motorcade? i know a place near arpico called legacy motors, but they have none of these good brands

Hmmm... when you turn towards JAIC Hilton from Union place, go past Cargills, turn left and as you come to the T junction its to your left.

True, but it has some nice tid bits.... :)

To answer the question of the main topic, I would say, AutoGlym and Meguiars are the best of out of the lot available. Eagle One is a tad over hyped and I have reservations on using as I never managed to get a good finish.

Also the old fashioned 3M paste, Caranuba or Turtle wax and a lot of elbow grease will get the job done. But if one can invest in an electric buffing machines, then we can stop being 'novices' after a while, eh? ;)

Didn't mean to down play your expertise on the matter. Sorry about that.

I will leave it to the experts.

Does anyone know from where we can purchase electric buffing machines in SL?

Guys question in same line.. what are the tyre clean/shine products available other than 3M tire shine product? Also I've seen service stations use white colour liquide to clean tyres during service which they said they get in huge cans.. I don't mind getting one of those. Dirty tyres are like dirty shoes with mud in a tuxedo. If i can get one of those can.. it'll be enough for one or two years i guess

Finally I got what i was looking in my our own garage.. my father had Dash Original Shine bottle never used it though. 200ml bottle only Rs.150. This is quite thick so i can add about 2 or 3 times of water to it.

Gives the better look than when you take the car out from the service. No shining but gives dark black finish to the tyres. Need to apply to dry surface.

Dash definetly is a short term solution. I use it on my tyres after every wash. The issue is i dont see the point in spending excessively on tyre shine, given the amount of pot holes, gravel roads and mud puddles you encounter on Sri Lankan roads. Your tyres are always bound to get dirty very soon

Good point- but after washing & waxing you're self- the perfectionist screams for the tires to be detailed as well! Even though it only lasts only a few km's only :lol - the budget way to go for tire gloss is shoe polish- works well if you're not in a lazy mood :P
