Hi Guyssss

I came across Civic Es 08 2001 EXI model for 1.9 mil( 80000km GOLD Color, FULL OP)

i jsut want to know the price range above this and fuel consumption for EXI model.

and will it worth for that amount???????????????????

i jsut want to know the price range above this and fuel consumption for EXI model.

and will it worth for that amount???????????????????

whats its Transmission? Auto or Manual

It does about 8-11kmpl in the City and aboout 11-14 kmpl Outstation.

Price is very reasonable. My one is auto and does 10 km (+_ .5) in colombo and 12 km out station(kandy).

Is there big price difference between manual and auto?

Cos the ones on AL are being priced at 2.4. In fact I went to see the green one. Thats auto

BTW- any idea why the car market has suddenly gone dry??

I thought it was converted to Manual.

yesday i went with sme expert guy and sort it out.

he said it's not converted.

This is a EXI one.. any idea how much will it cost for a timing belt.. and for a engine tune up...

If you do it at agent,

Auto ten. = 9950.00

Belt timing = 5750.00

Belt compressor = 4950.00

Bush Fr Compliance=1495.00

Labour charges=4312.00

Bro EXI are came as Brand New Cars and EXI cluster is the Export Basic Model made to Asian Region. EXI came Manual Trans and Auto Trans it was at the 1st owner's choice...and this EXI ES8 came with non VTEC engines...but those really good on going an extra mile to a every drop...

Dont worry machan...im pretty much sure no body would have attempt to change the tranny from auto to manual or manual to auto in SL..because in these ES or EK models....if the tranny has to be changed..its from the scratch...From ECU to Tranny Box...everything gotta change..and no one would have or requires to change the tranny coz car gives a good MPG in every way....

best thing is to change it now to be on the safe side.

I was wondering if we buy a car just over 150K miles.. best thing is to change the timing belt right away.. in case previous owners chagned the belt at 80K miles.. 160K is another 80K miles of life time.. if we wait till 200K miles we are well over 100K life time of second belt.

with regards to 84000 km........

first of all, did yu buy that car? if yes, there are so many aspects to check. starting with all the filters, injectors and mounts etc..

First of all...do a PGM test @ da agents....talk to Dinanjaya @ STFD MTRS and he'll do a all round check up will tell u wot to do and not to do..hes a cool dude...other than that wot evergreen said is xactly wot has to be done....by da way evergreen and my self is telling by our own Honda Experience....LMAO

I think ur refering to that Silver ES1 its the JDM version and seems like a good deal...pls put ur extra attention on the EPS system and CVT box...do a thorough test run and if ur really hoping to buy..do a full check up @ da agents and go for it !

2.2 for a ES1 is a good deal with VTEC and CVT,EPS
