rangerover
I agree! the rav4 (for 1.8) and the ae/ce 110 are 1996-1999 model year vehicles, whilst the ist is 2002+ model year! So the condition you find a ist might be much better than a car which has been in this country for longer! Purely on model year, options, and looks (again, difficult to compare with two different generations) i would say the IST is better

xXx
I think all three vehicles fair equally on the four areas you mentioned. i think it really comes to the easthetics of hte vehicle and your financial ability to cough up that extra half a million. keep in mind as rangerover has pointed out two of the three cars has been exposed to SL conditions longer than the other. Yes comparison is not fair among three when i come to usability, i prefer RAV4 over ist considering its high ground clearance which is very use full in our context. Any way i'm also interested in seeing comparison in terms of comfort, fuel consumption, maintenance specially the suspension or RAV4
