What does it mean to have a vehicle wear an "A*W Certified Pre-owned Vehicle" label?

Is it a testament of a certain vehicle's quality at the time of purchase by the first customer in Sri Lanka?

Is the mileage of such a vechile at the time of purchase by the first customer in Sri Lanka authentic?

Is it worth the hype?

Pre-owned vehicles checked by A*W.. But they've discontinued this for some time now

A*W gurantees that the mileage is Not changed and Original ,

i think it is correct bec my Vz-R had 55,000kms when we imported and only changed the rackends when the mileage was 115,000.

A friend who worked at A*W said that the price between the certified vs Brand new was not much so people would rather go for a BN at a small premium or a registered with a much lower price tag.

Hence they stopped.
