Recently, got the opportunity to see and get inside of The one and only Japanese V12, Toyota Century(a.k.a Japanese Rolls Royce). Is it really upto Rolls Royce standards? Nope, I don't think so. Items like Switches and mirror housings are in plastic. But, we can be assured that the dashboard will not light up like Christmas and would run forever....· 1 reply

The cost of renting something for a month or two (even more - personal imports have been quite messy of late) made me wonder if it actually makes sense to buy a quickly disposable car and get rid of it in a couple of months - but it seems the 'popular' models aren't moving. I have a Toyota Vios 2003. There is a knock in gear change when it is changing to the over drive gear (OD gear). When the "OD is off" the knock does happen. Once this is switched on there is this knock in the gear change . I changed the transmission oil also. but it did not sort my problem. Is this a common problem for Vios models? Can I get this repaired? From where can I this get repaired? can Toyota Lanka detect the problem and sort this out?
