Defender Svx 60th Anniversary

today saw a defender 60th anniversary around ratnapura, can any one clarify if its a real one, all i could see is the svx front grill, side/rear badges, with no big sticker with 60 on it, suspicious part s d num cz it hd a 64- num?

anyone has any info about this unique daemon

An authentic Landrover 60th Defender cannot be having 64-plates.Maybe an old-Regd new bodied one.

In 2008 for Land Rover's 60th anniversary, three special edition Defenders Branded the 'SVX',were produced.A 110 Station Wagon (only available outside the UK), a 90 Station Wagon and a 90 Soft Top.

Main Identification points

All were painted black with 'satin' effect body graphics on sides and bonnet carrying the '60th' logo .

Bespoke 5-spoke alloy wheels

Silver-coloured front grille design

New design of headlamp with the sidelight lamp being integral with the main headlamp unit

Recaro bucket seats in the front row

Alloy gearlever knobs

Garmin GPS navigation system.

the things i saw missing from exterior is body sticker only everything else exterior saw the, so then seems like an illegal one ,

but at least theres one of em here in SL, i could clearly see all the side SVX badgers with showed on the pictures and those wheels

"modified" one with 60th anniversary, if not for a re-bodied or engraved original brought down from UK. There are many companies and individuals bring down spares and vehicles from UK as of lately. had any chance to peep into interior ? which will be a big give away.

gt a chance to see the interior its the same as original svx only thing missing is the aluminium gear knobs

How much was it sold for do you know? was it 110 or 90? old number plates ie: 325, 32-, 64 or English number?

I dont think there's a single SVX 60 110 in SL, only 1800 were built . Are you sure about it?

what about the aluminum gear leavers? Recaro Seats? Alpine stereo? LED Tail lights?
