Honda City And Honda Fit Aria

I am looking for either of the above with 7 gears and 1.500cc model. Will I be able to buy one for abt 2.3mil? looking for recently registered one! Is this car relativly good as compared with cars in the similar range?

As I know 7speeds comes with the CVT gearbox. which is said to be unreliable and giving much troubles.

I did not know much about the Aria until I drove one recently. Surprisingly it is a very good car and is underrated. Was pretty pleased with the sweet iDSi Honda engine and the overall comfort, leg room etc. The car generally looks fugly and seems to be inspired by a "Kaputa". However, I think this is a good alternative to expensive Toyota's in SL. CVT gear box is of course a problem if not properly maintained. If you find a low mileage car with a CVT gearbox in decent shape you can still "cure" the cvt problem. If you want to know how, PM me.

Please share your experience with us as most of the people who are below 2.3M budget are thinking of moving to Honda City. How is the availability of spare parts and the maintenance cost? Is it a good car that can be recommanded as best 'value for money'? how about the resell value?

buddy what are the issues may arise with CVT gear box?? and what are the PROPER maintains to be done ?? anything additional to the normal procedure?? thanks in advance

I think all 1500CC s come with CVT only.
