'm having a small crack on my windscreen,

Wanna know abt the cost of replacing a new windscreen for EK3-RS. & @ where?

I have replaced my wind screen ,

theres a place at wattala ,they have a mobile service, (PM me if any one interested)

total cost was 12.5K (Japanese) I feel that they have done a good job,

@ agents it will cost u 89.5 K , (BN)

So for 12.5k they provide the windscreen (which i presume is a used one) AND come home and fit it for you?? That sure sounds like a good deal! May i ask what the vehicle is?

Its an EK3,

No reflections issues or water drops so far.

Seems to be ok.

This is a bit OT - but i have noted down a place- [from an ad about 2 to 3 months back]- where they repair cracked/broken windscreens - for eg- small cracks from pebbles from vehicle in front etc [or according to them any sort of crack.]

Must confess that i have no personal experience to verify their services.

When i called them - they said it'll be good as the original after repair.

The treatment used is heating the affected area to a certain level etc.

if anyone is interested i can email the contact no or if its ok by the adm. - i can post it here.

if anyone has any experience with them - pls share the outcome.

[this is @ polhengoda - said charge is 1750/- for a pebble crack of about 2 inches in diameter]
