Dear Friends,

Please let me know the use of a PCV Valve. the worn-out PCV Valve will be related to high fual consumption?

afaik PCV valve was born out of stricter emission standards being imposed on cars.

The valve is there to send any oil vapor coming out of the crank case back into the combustion chamber to be burnt.

It might have a slight effect on fuel economy but i doubt it should be anything noticeable
