Hi all,

Looking to buy a used rear wheel drive engine, preferably a 1500cc upto 1800 would be ok.

Not sure models, so I require your help to get to know what engines(from which cars) that i should be looking for.

well the corollla KE 72,74 had the 1500 version but i think the KE 72 is 1300, you can try that.....and in the more modern ones you can try the toyota verosa engine...but could be costly no idea about the engine model.

If you want to go for something cheap then a lancer 1500 box engine could also do.

yep...quite a few options and it all depends on what you're after

verossa motor would cost quite a bit and the older corollas should be cheaper and relatively easier to find.

getting one in good shape however might not be that easy

There's a Corolla Mark II advertised today... might be worthwhile to go check it out..
