Dear Friends,

I have a Toyota AE104 manual gear wagon which have a 4E EFI engine. When the engine is ruining and without the dipstick,I noticed that the dipstick hole is sucking the air from the outside. is this normal..?

Shouldn't you replace the dipstick before running the car in the first place?????????

never heard this type of behaviour as usually dipstick blows air out. Check whether your air intake has any obstacles or the filter is severely blocked? or your rings are very very good and doesn't blow a single drop from compression and thus has a vacuum in crank case. :)

think adding this is more useful...

Last week I replaced the air filter, engine oil with using an oil treatment. (Done an oil treatment due to the large amount of white smoke coming out from the silencer and the going down of the engine oil level). Before those things have done, the air from the dipstick hole came out with some amount of the oil drops.

So.. now the dipstick hole is suking the air... :(

now I'm clueless.

I thought the reason would be that, there's a block/obstacle in air cleaner/in-take so it tend to suck some amount of air from crack case. Why don't you give another check to see whether the air filter installed properly including intake pipes to confirm there aren't any obstacles in the air intake.
