Ravinda you don't seem to have read at least the first article that I quoted. It's not about market share. Instead it is about technological and strategic failures of very high magnitude. Namely,

1) Failure of Honda Insight.

2) Failure of SH-AWD.

3) Having an outdated Gasoline engine line-up thanks to not capitalising on fuel direct injection.

4) Failures in Diesel engines.

5) Abandoning new NSX.

last but not least, handing 2009 Formula1 championships on a platter to Ross Brawn and Jenson Button.

Honda did not Abandon the NSX but is to come up with a new model to replace it.. which obviously what most of the car makers do.

Just so you know, that article is from 2008 (Since your maths is weak, thats 2 years ago) and THAT car, the NSX replacement, is what isurujosh says was canceled.

exactly!...nissan(or any other mediocre brand) may shout all out about the fancy gizmo's and gimmiks in their cars,and dumbass fanboys will eat it it all up...but in the end there's nothing to compare to the mercs prestige and legacy which is what their customers seek and which others cant even hope to match in a hundred years becaude of it's exclusivety and volume.

funny thing is that the guys who have GTR's and Z's are NOT the ones blowing nissans horn and posting useless self-rightous rants.it is no doubt a great auto manufacturer that has been making good cars for the masses,but i'm afraid thats all it is...no need to open up new topics claiming something its not,as there are other similar brands doing equally well.

neither the content in the original post nor the video by edmunds.com claim victory for nissan in the luxury car segment. they claim that performance numbers of the inifiniti targetted at e class are better. this together with other cars like the GTR and the Z are evidence that nissan in heading in the right way. nothing mentioned in the article claims anything else. all else conclusions drawn out are only imaginations in fat disgruntled minds and they are not opinions or facts expressed by the author of this article.

the topic description "Merc E-Class Beater from Nissan!" was obviously made in the context of the performance numbers.

I'm gonna put it this way once. If you want to get personal on the forums, I have two options. Either remove your post under "personal attacks" (which you will respond to by saying personal gain or some rot like that) or leave it and respond in kind. Which I can guarantee you will get very ugly, very fast, and you will be running to hide behind your momma's skirts. So keep it off the forum.
