Car Steering Problem

Hey all, have a small issue,

My (recently purchased) car's left hand side's turning circle is far greater than it's right. The steering wheel does one and a half rotations to make a complete turn to the right, but only just one rotation to the left.... :unsure:

The left hand side CV joint is shot, which I am getting replaced, but I was told that the CV can't be the problem.

Any idea why this happens? Thanks.
