You could but gives out the sound only dont know how well, no performance gain as such. It doesn't even factor in reliabilty since a supercharger shuts down as revs drop. A dump valve on a turbo is to deal with the spin caused by the turbine's inertia. When you let off in a turbo car, the turbo keeps spinning and producing boost when the car doesn't need it. excess boost can be harmful for the engine and the turbo alike, If i had a supercharged car i wouldn't do it..

Thats 'VTEC'!!!

Nothing to beat the torque of Turbo charged performance car.. But I find it silly when audi and Vw turbo charge their line of 'family/office' sedans.. of course the Golf is something else.
