the drive-way has angle so when the car is parked @ home the boot is abt 1 foot higher than the bonnet... every time it rains the water gets collected along the groove under the boot lid & then seeps in through the beading....

cover the boot with something waterproof when raining....

This happens when on the road as well... so don;t think covering is an option...

what i need is a place to get it fixed... not impractical solutions

Have you had a close look at the rubber seal? is it crushed or out of shape in the area where it leaks? if so might be worth replacing it. If the rubber looks a bit dry try lubricating it with something like silicone grease do not use any petroleum products.

Is there any adjustment on the boot lid that can be done if the above fails?

since you have related the issue to your parking place, thought it was only happening when the vehicle is parked at your home. :D

The rubber looks old & there r few cracks but not @ the place where it's leaking... i'm guessing the water is seaming in from a diff place & since that's the lowest (the dripping point) point, that's where i see the water drops...... tried to find the exact place... no luck....

there r no adjusting points as well

i guess a replacement is the option.... any places where u would recommend for this ?

You can try places along Darley Road. If I remember right LP Gunarathne used to be quite good.
