Honda Civic 2007/08 Model Feedback

Guys,

Do any of you have any feedback on the 2007/08 civic (commonly called the fish model)? any known issues, driving experience, comfort, engine power etc. Also could this car be bought for a budget of 4.0 - 4.5 mil?

I believe the model available here is officially called FD4 ..(They've FD1s, FD2s, etc in US..)... as the cars are brand new / under 4yrs old max, it's difficult to identify issues... but so far no complaints from people I know... including our family!!!

Can vouch that it's a great car in handling, comfort and pick up...

Personally speaking , we looked at the 1.6l version, and not the 1.8l, as things such as sun roofs and cruise control don't mean anything in this country...

As for the budgets, I'm not sure whether it's available for that range, unless U R lucky... believe the brand new price with agents is 6Mn, and the second hand market will be in the 5-5.5Mn range...

well 5 - 5.5 would be cars a year or less older. The 2007/08 registered apparantely falls between the 4-4.5 depending on condition/mileage etc. THis was according to some dealers i spoke to

Sorry...I thought U were looking at the second hand market for probably the newer ones...

if you can get a good one at that range, suggest you go for it...

According to the agent's informations, Few have complained the rack issue same like es series. Other than that the car is excellent in handling,comfort and very much better pulling in 1,8 version. I also thought of importing a used one from japan but understand it is very difficult to find FD4 which runs with petrol. Hybrid versions are available.

good heavens! this has the rack issue as well? ya most JDM's are either the 2000cc sports or the 1300cc hybrid

I have noticed that the 1.6litr comes with 16 inch alloys and the 1.8 s comes with the 15 inch.

one reason 1.6l was made was for markets who have engine capacity based tax structures, such as singapore..

I've used this car for over two years now... so far only changes done were the oil and air filters!!

Not sure about the tyre size difference... the Brand new came in 16" for both versions...
