belta 1000 cc is not good in performance, you better go to 1300 vitz or 1300 belta

But is 1000cc more fuel efficient than 1300cc??? Pls clarify. I also wanted to get a Belta but the prices are going up day by day. If any one give me some information to find a good offer it'll be much appreciated

What about 1000cc Vitz???? duty for a 1000cc Vitz and 1300cc has a gap about 0.4M.... Has any one driven 1000cc Vitz??? How about its pick up???

i have driven a 1000cc vitz new model, but its not as impressive as Toyota IST or Nissan March(both these cars got 1300cc engine). i recommend u to go for a 1300cc Vitz :)

Only 1000cc vitz is matching to my budget. If i go for a 1300cc one i have to spend more 0.4M... This will stuck me into some extent with money... So considering these economic problem and mainly fuel consumption do u still recommend me to go for a 1300cc one or 2nd hand 1300cc one??? Is this drawback of having low pickup very much critical issue ???

its all about power to weight ratio... 1000cc engine is small for a car like vitz.. specially for belta (etc:- new maruti suzuki estilo is smaller than vitz but has same 1000 cc engine.. and mini has 1000cc and 1300cc too..just wanted to give you a idea about size) :)

1000CC Vitz price Silver around 24 lkhs white 23 lkhs black 25-26 lakhs

dont think abt 0.4m, buying 1000CC for city limits drive is ok, but the best option is 1300 CC. if you can drive those two vehicles ones before you ready to buy the vehicle, you can see the difference :)

Yes. please consider power to weight ratio. 1000 CC may be OK for a Vitz but surely not enough for sedan type Belta where you have extra boot space for extra weight. you will not get the optimum fuel consumption if you use heavy vehicle with lower engine capacity. Hence, low 2nd hand value. If you really want to go to, get a manual one so you will be having a better control of power.

Sankalpa, i am not in a position to comment on the fuel consumption between the two engines (1000 and 1300cc) but what you should take in to account is weather the fuel saving you get in the 1300cc one is worth it for the extra 0.4 million, especially if you have to borrow that extra sum of money.

hmmm..... we are talking about years..... maybe 4,5 or 9,10 ... so with that amount of time,it will worth right ? and 1000cc has less resale values than 1300cc but what i think is.... if most of this type of cars comes with 1000cc engine,it will be normal..... any ideas guys ? :)

never and never buy a 1000 cc belta, it has very poor pulling power, and you will never able to climb a hill with two people in it.

I love your posts dude! You just write anything, it's awesome!

The 1000cc vitz can climb hills, so can the belta. I drove a 1000cc vitz and found it loud, noisy and inefficent, my friend has the same experience and gets 8km/l. I have a 1300 vitz RS now and it gets a bit noisy only after 3500 revs/min but it ain't that bad and the car is very efficient on fuel. Nippy too, almost comparable to my 1600 Sunny.
