Most of the Yaris in the country were brought down to SL by permit holders. they can sell the vehicle only after 5years.

How many kilometers a month are you looking at here? what's the difference in rupees R U hoping to save per month?

Seriously... if the difference of few rupees is the first concern people have when thinking of an investment option of 3Mn, they should be in the treasury....

Only they'll be concerned about decimal changes in a bulk purchase...

That's my point too mate... it's a question of priorities...

For someone who travels 60km per day in this country, the condition of the specific vehicle you intend to buy, any known troubles in general, difficulties in resale are some of the more valuable areas to question...

No point having a car that saves 2000 bucks a month on fuel, if it comes with costly repairs and frequent breakdowns...

I'm not hinting Yaris has any of these.... just giving some common sense advice on looking at the total cost of maintaining a vehicle...

If I were you, I'd look at the option of a Brand new Alto as well... and save a million in the process.. :)

I'm with you on all of that. Just that we can get most of the detail about the model from the web. Fuel consumption on our roads is something else. its always interesting to know what everyone says.

By the way we already have an Alto.
