Dear Friends, I got an offer to buy import vehicle-vitz which is 42,000 mileage, silver, 1.3cc from Japan for Yen 1000,000. Since the deal is getting closed on 3/8/2010, please advice me on this matter as earlier as possible. I don't have an idea about total cost after custom duty as well.

Yen 1million is approx Sl Rs = 1.3 million

Tax Sl Rs 900000 max. This can be reduced due to depreciation.

Shipment+insurance = 200000 Rs

Total approx= 2.3 million

One of my cousins is importing one and it cost CIF only 900000 Rs. 2007 dark blue.I don't know whether it is 1000 cc or 1300cc.

It is a good car and very good on fuel and easy maintenence.

Your price 1 miilion Jap yen is bit towards heigher side. Just think of it.

1 miilion Jap yen is inclusive of CIF charges as well. Friends plz advice me on this since this is my first automobile experience. Deal is going to close in EOD today in SL ti :mellow: me.
