Watchman Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 hey, as you've all probably seen by now there's a number of Double Deckers in SL that was given as Tsunami aid i think... and they sure are a good solutino to trafic. i normally take the 112 and there's a DD on that route and it takes quite a load... but the thing that suprised me is that these busses have AUTOMATIC transmissions... while riding i realized the gear transissions were very smooth indeed... and when getting down i checked and sure enough it was an Auto... i'm just suprised how they get the torque needed to pull that bus along...can a conventional torque converter give that much torque? is it the same type of TC thats used in these transmissions?
