Hi lads, poped by after a long time to ask couple of quick questions

is there W202 model made in India????

if so is there a way to identify where the car was made with out looking at the vehicle documents or the cahssis number???

and finally how much will one cost these days?

As far as I know the W202 was never made in India. It was the W124 that was made in India.

The W202 was assembled in South Africa though...there's one in SL. Not sure if there's a distinct number that separates those made in germany (apart actually checking the stamped panel).

As mentioned before, the subsequent E-Class (W124 onwards), in its later years was assembled in India...
