Waja is built on Galant Chassis and a heavy car compared to wira. its got a 1.6 L Mitsu engine. not good on fuel.

my father bought a brand new Waja in 2006 (Auto tranny) & still we're using it.. so far no major probs with the car... has done nearly 60,000kms & does around 8kmpl in colombo rush hour with a/c (even a Carina gives the same fuel figure within colombo)...it has a good pulling power & the weight of the car makes it really stable(thanks to lotus ride & handling). but the build quality is not upto the standard of Jap vehicles, interior space is similar to a Vios, but i think reconditioned vehicles which came from Singapore are not maintained very well....spare parts are cheaper than Jap vehicle spare parts(but not durable as the Japs :P ) its damn cheap if u could directly bring them down from malaysia...all in all its a good car...
