A Toyota 121 Accident

I looked up Lakehouse for any info on the 121 accident, all I could find was a byline stating 4 passengers were in the car, including a woman who was severely injured. So I'm assuming no one kicked the bucket at the scene at least. My theory is that since it was highly unlikely they were wearing seat belts, they must've been flung out of the car when it started spinning like a top after hitting the embankment.

That's a different accident as far as I know. These pics were leaked from the insurance company that was called in - although they later discovered that the guy hadn't been paying his premiums and no insurance work could be done. I believe he was trying to get rid of the car (as in sell..or maybe crash it) but anyway the guy is no longer with us.

There was an another accident at Rajagiriya on Saturday . One 121 had gone over the centre island after braking a lamp post at the right middle of the road. Has anybody seen?

Car was badly damaged.

Lot of confusing points on Rajagiriya-Battaramulla road with some stupid construction work right in the middle of the road with no proper signage as to how you're to proceed. Add to that the street lights on that stretch are almost never on, so it's not surprising there would be accidents of any sort on that stretch.

True, I was heading towards Battaramulla last week around at 7.30pm and bam, the road suddenly split into two! No signs, no lights, nothing. Crazy, if you ask me. Plus, they've added a yellow crossing just before that little bridge after you pass Splash. That's the only part of the road where traffic evens out a bit and you can put your foot down. Imagine bearing down on a pedestrian at breakneck speed...
